  • Contractor: Foundation of the Hellenic World.

Aim: The Project aimed at the development of the essential technological infrastructure and, in general, at fostering those conditions that enable a new approach in the employment of ICT in education for students aged 6-15. In the framework of this Project appropriate software tools, the ‘Lega Machine’, were developed as well as a series of exploratory educational activities. The software that was developed was based in the design principle of "Black and White boxes" giving user deep structural access. The educational activities were centered around 3 thematic units:

  • Exploration of natural phenomena through simulations
  • Concepts of space, orientation, scale and symbolism
  • Historical trips in space and time

The employment and attestation of the aforementioned activities took place at the Psychico College, at the Hellenic World museum and at two post-graduate modules of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and of Greek Open University respectively.

ETL's main activities:

  • Participation in the design of educational software and educational activities,
  • Support of the integration of educational technology in school,
  • Attestation and diffusion of the results of research and development
