ETL at WAAE Summit Athens 2024

The World Alliance for Arts Education Summit (WAAE) was successfully concluded, hosted by the School of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in collaboration with the Departments of Music and Theatre Studies, from October 17-19.

As a co-organizer, the Educational Technology Lab (ETL) actively participated, with Prof. Chronis Kynigos delivering an opening address, and presenting the research paper “Aesthetic experiences with mathematics and music through digital technology” by M. Karavakou and C. Kynigos.

Additionally, ETL co-organized the interactive workshop “Dancing with Mathematics: an interdisciplinary educational approach for embodied learning with motion-capture technologies” as part of the European research project “TransEET.”

WAAE brought art and technology closer together, creating new pathways for interdisciplinary education!
