Prof. Chronis Kynigos as national representative of Greece in ICME-15

The International Congress on Mathematical Education is the world's largest international conference on mathematics education. The 15th ICME occurred 7-14 July 2024 at the International Convention Centre in Sydney, Australia. 

Chronis Kynigos, participated in the ICME15 conference, presenting two research papers:

"Integrating Computational Thinking and Math Education: The Case of Programming 3D Animated Models in MaLT2" by Marianthi Grizioti and Chronis Kynigos explores how CT practices like abstraction and pattern recognition can be implemented in various ways within the MaLT2 digital environment, focusing on either math or CS concepts.

"Introducing Data Classification in Early Secondary Education Through the Design and Play of Digital Classification Games" by Marianthi Grizioti and Chronis Kynigos discusses developing data classification understanding through engaging activities in SorBET.
