Educational Technology Lab's Participation at CERME 14

Our research team recently participated in the 14th Congress of the European Society for Research in Mathematics Education (CERME 14), held in Bolzano-Bozen, Italy, from February 4th to 8th, 2025. The conference provided an excellent platform for presenting our latest research on mathematical thinking, digital technologies, and embodied learning, while also fostering meaningful discussions with the international mathematics education community.

• Chronis Kynigos & Katia Schiza – Students’ mathematical thinking through programming, animation & 3D printing: Early insights in the case of curvature
• Myrto Karavakou & Chronis Kynigos – Dancing with trigonometric functions: Aesthetically guided covariational reasoning while creating periodic dynamic models
• Dimitris Diamantidis & Chronis Kynigos – The design of artefacts by Mathematics teachers’ trainers as a window to the study of a training program

• Charikleia Korompli – Programming to inscribe geometric entities in circle and sphere: An embodied approach of textual programming towards assembling a new conceptual field
